Waterloo, ON – Position Summary: Reporting to the Operation Manager, the Front Desk Receptionist is required to deliver an excellent customer service to our guests. Candidate must have hospitality attitude, strong problem solving skills and customer service oriented sprits. Responsibilities: Maintain an inventory and room status of vacancies, reservations and room assignments Register arriving guests and assign rooms Answer enquiries regarding hotel services and registration by letter, by telephone and in person, provide information about services available in the community and respond to guests’ complaints Compile and check daily record sheets, guest accounts, receipts and vouchers using computerized or manual systems Present statements of charges to departing guests and receive payment. Process group arrivals and departures Reserve, cancel and modify room reservations Process telephone calls on a multi-line switchboard Provide information on hotel facilities and services Provide genera… – Permanent – Full-time
