Alberta Health Services – Edmonton, AB – Reports directly to the Supervisor, Ambulatory Data Collection – Edmonton and area. This position works closely with the Health Information Professional. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for: – Accurate data entry of Service Log Data into the Service Log Application (Oracle). – Identifying inappropriate marking of service event codes and taking corrective action as per procedure. – Filing completed service event sheets for storage and future reference. – Performing other established duties as required. Qualifications: – Completion of grade 12 diploma or recognized equivalent is required. – Completion of Medical terminology certificate is required (testing completed prior to interview). – Excellent word processing/typing speed (min 120 keyboarding strokes per minute) and accuracy are required (testing done prior to interview). – Data Entry experience is required. – Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. – Demonstrated organizational and communication… – Permanent – Full-timeApply for this job.
